Interview with Aurianna Washington

Aurianna Washington is a kidpreneur with a love for beautiful girly things and a desire to help others. Her store, Auri’s Treasures, sells hair accessories and earrings to trendy young girls, with a percentage of the profits going towards various charitable initiatives. Auri wants to show other young people that they can be entrepreneurial and make an impact.

Loving the spirit of this young entrepreneur, Kebloom asked Aurianna a few questions about her business:


1) Please introduce yourself.

Hi guys, my name is Aurianna and I’m the owner of Auri’s Treasures.


“I saw my mum with her business and I wanted to make my own business and start earning money.”


2) What is the name of your business?

My business name is Auri’s Treasures.

3)   Tell us a little bit about Auri’s Treasures.

I sell girly stuff like bracelets and hair accessories. I donate some of the money to the needy.

“Even though it’s hard with the business you still learn something, so, keep going.”

4) What passions inspired the creation of your business?

I saw my mum with her business and I wanted to make my own business and start earning money.

5) What skills have you developed whilst running your non-profit?

I’ve learned packaging and handling with my business.

6) What is your current goal for Auri’s Treasures and what is your ultimate one?

My goal right now is $100 a week and my biggest goal is to help other people.

7) What advice would you give to other young entrepreneurs/dreams?

Even though it’s hard with the business you still learn something, so, keep going.
