Keeping The Drive Alive
Near to gone are the days when kids having fun came in the form of climbing trees and adventuring in the great outdoors.
As kids are becoming more and more exposed to the new era of digital entertainment, the past fun had by generations previous has been all but forgotten.
This poses its benefits – in educating kids on how to use modern gadgets – but also has a severe downside.
Our kids have forgotten the spirit of hard work and instead are realising that of instant gratification.
Instead of using their minds to invent new and innovative games to play against their friends, they’re stuck in a room playing mindless killing games, providing them with little else than the skill of opposable thumbs.
However, despite the problems this scenario implies, it’s hard to imagine forcing kids back outside to be the be all and end all solution to this problem
So, the team at Kebloom is posing another.
Instead of banning our kids from the technology that fuels them, we want them to make use of it – in a way that is constructive to achieving their passions and successes.
Kebloom is an online community where kids can learn fundamental skills such as that of financial literacy, instilling back in them the value of working hard to achieve their goals.
As kids learn how save, invest and spend effectively as well as managing their own business, they can learn how to best utilise their abilities for success.
Ensuring that the skill of having equally capable thumbs isn’t the only one listed on their future resumes.
